SafetyNet Mesh offers a cost effective alternative to Wi-Fi with the additional benefits of being unavailable to be hacked, which makes it ideal for mission critical applications, and being able to cover a wide area.
Tracking zones can be defined using SafetyNet Mesh and actions prescribed for when the system monitors people or assets entering or leaving an area.
SafetyNet Mesh systems are designed to provide a robust solution for critical applications, with the ability to repair if a transceivers on the system go down.
The information collected by SafetyNet Mesh is presented by SafetyNet Locator software on schematics, providing a comprehensive solution to monitoring workers in potentially confrontational or hazardous roles and tracking the location of critical or valuable assets.
How does SafetyNet™ Mesh work?
Wireless beacons strategically placed within a building or designated area receive signals from dedicated location monitoring devices, like SafetyNet Protect+ and SafetyNet Asset, as their users move around the area. SafetyNet Locator software then displays movements in real time on on-screen schematics*, and records movements for management reporting, accountability proof etc.
The system can be used in any indoor situation but is especially useful in areas where achieving reliable GPS or Wi-Fi coverage is challenging.
