The facility replaces HMP &amp; YOI Corton Vale and is a smaller, and better equipped provision for both staff and visitors.<\/p><p>Our remit was to provide all staff on duty with a personal alarm used alongside and integrated with the site-wide radio system under control room management. Our solution is Protect+, a simple compact personal staff alarm unit used by support staff, with prison officers using TETRA radios in parallel. TETRA radios are enhanced by adding a module to provide a personal alarm and location functionality.<\/p><p>A network of beacons provides <strong><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">SafetyNet Protect+<\/a><\/strong> and TETRA radios with indoor location information combining the benefits of TETRA digital radio and IoT technology.
