After more than two decades with Peppers Cable Glands, one of our longest-serving team members is preparing to begin a new chapter. Lisa joined the business in April 2005, and her time at Peppers reflects both her dedication and versatility and it perfectly highlights the strong team culture that continues to define Peppers today. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From\u00a0Office\u00a0Manager to\u00a0Logistics Manager<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Lisa first joined us as our\u00a0Office Manager, combining administrative responsibilities with customer-facing sales support, preparing\u00a0quotations\u00a0and helping customers find the right solutions for their applications.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

As the business grew and\u00a0additional\u00a0sales staff joined the team, her role evolved\u00a0into what is now, taking on\u00a0responsibility for despatch, coordinating the shipment of Peppers products throughout the UK and around the world. Her ability to adapt and embrace new challenges has been a key part of her contribution to the company over the years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Witnessing two decades of\u00a0growth<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Having spent more than 20 years at Peppers, she has seen the\u00a0many ways the\u00a0business\u00a0has\u00a0evolved, from changes in technology and processes to the growth of the team itself.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Speaking about her\u00a0on her time with the company, one of the most noticeable changes has been watching new colleagues join the business and seeing Peppers continue to develop over the years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“Over the years,\u00a0because the business has grown and evolved, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside many different people. It’s been rewarding to see the team develop and the company continue to move forward.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

Making a\u00a0difference<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Among her proudest achievements are projects that improved the way the business\u00a0operates, including overseeing the installation of new telephone systems and taking on responsibility for despatch following a colleague’s retirement.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

By\u00a0her willingness to expand\u00a0her role and embrace many\u00a0additional\u00a0responsibilities, she\u00a0has\u00a0helped the business continue\u00a0in efficient operation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

A\u00a0culture like home<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“I’ve always appreciated the autonomy I’ve been given.\u00a0I’ve\u00a0been able to make improvements where needed. It’s allowed me to do my job effectively and make a real difference.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

More importantly, however, it is the people who have made her time at Peppers so memorable.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“It has always felt like being at home. Everyone is comfortable being themselves, we have a lot of laughs together, and people genuinely support one another.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

Looking\u00a0ahead<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

As\u00a0her leaving date\u00a0approaches, it is the team she will miss most.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

“We have a fantastic team here. Everyone works together, gets along, and supports each other. Over the years\u00a0we’ve\u00a0shared holidays, lunches, nights out and celebrations. I’ve been very fortunate to work with such a lovely group of\u00a0people, and\u00a0not seeing them every day will be the hardest part.”\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

While she may be leaving the office behind, her contribution to Peppers over the last 20 years has helped shape the company into what it is today. On behalf of everyone at Peppers Cable Glands, we would like to thank her for her commitment, hard\u00a0work\u00a0and friendship, and wish her every\u00a0success going forward.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
