This Policy outlines Peppers Cable Glands Ltd.\u2019s commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance with the UK Bribery Act 2010.<\/span><\/p>

Our Ethical Commitment<\/strong><\/span>
Peppers Cable Glands Ltd believes that acting responsibly and ethically is fundamental to how we do business. We aim to be a trusted business partner, employer, customer, and supplier \u2014 and to lead by example, particularly in markets where ethical standards are still developing.<\/span>
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Bribery is defined, in line with the Bribery Act 2010, as:<\/span><\/p>

\u201cThe offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any gift, reward, fee, or other advantage as an inducement to act improperly in the course of business.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    • The policy is distributed to all employees and made available to relevant external partners.<\/span><\/li>
    • All staff are made aware of their responsibilities through induction programmes, values communications, and employee handbooks.<\/span><\/li>
    • Tailored anti-bribery and ethics training is provided to managers and supervisors, including materials available in various languages and formats.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Prohibited Conduct<\/strong><\/span>
      To ensure these commitments are understood and upheld:<\/span><\/p>

      • Making unofficial payments to public officials to secure permits, licences, or customs clearance.<\/span><\/li>
      • Appointing third parties or suppliers known or suspected to have engaged in corrupt conduct.<\/span><\/li>
      • Paying agents or intermediaries (“fixers”) to facilitate introductions or favours through improper influence.<\/span><\/li>
      • Offering or accepting gifts, hospitality, or other benefits that could improperly influence a business decision.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Breach & Consequences<\/strong><\/span>
        Any breach of this policy whether by an employee or someone acting on behalf of Peppers Cable Glands Ltd may result in disciplinary action, dismissal, or termination of contract.<\/span>
        Involvement in bribery may expose the business to prosecution, significant fines, reputational damage, and loss of business opportunities.<\/span>
